Tried it myself,this is the stuff when u need additional OS for your own use and you have a program not compatible in your PC so you must run virtualization and for server use also....
To get free license forever. Just follow this steps.
1. register for an account in vmware.com.
2. then select VMware workstation then download the program. its about 500 mb.
3. then install it. you would see the license window and enter the license you register.
4. you will see 30 days but if you change the time about 1 year backwards like dec. 27, 2009 today put it dec. 27, 2008. you will use it for 1 yr men for free.
